How to Catch a Cheating Spouse with a Cell Phone

Infidelity is continually on the rise.  Unfortunately, technology has made it much easier for cheating spouses to carry on the affair in secret.  Cell phones and email allow easy communication at any time from almost anywhere.  Of course, the other side of this is that technology has also made it much easier to catch your cheating spouse.  Instead of just assuming your spouse is cheating or asking them directly, you can get proof of the affair or peace of mind that your spouse is being faithful.  Either way, you’re going to have to do a little research.

There are several ways you can get proof that your spouse is cheating on you.  There are computer programs that will let you spy on everything your spouse does on the computer.  Of course, there’s always a chance that your spouse could find the program before you really get any proof.  You could also hire a private detective to follow your spouse.  This option, however, is pretty expensive.  As with the computer programs, there’s always a chance your spouse could find out about the investigator.  You need to find a way to get proof without your spouse finding out. 

Perhaps the quickest and easiest way to do this is through your spouse’s cell phone.  More than likely, if your spouse is having an affair, they’re using their cell phone to contact their lover.  This probably happens on a regular basis.  It’s even possible that they’re talking to their lover while they’re with you. Using your spouse’s cell phone will be the easiest way to get proof with very little risk.  Of course it’s probably not the best idea to just go through their phone and call every number you don’t recognize, especially if they use the phone for work.

The best way to get proof is to watch your spouse when they’re on their phone.  This may take a little patience on your part.  Pay attention when your spouse excuses their self to take a call.  When your spouse returns from the call, you can casually ask who was calling.  You might want to keep track of the date and time of all suspicious phone calls, as well as the name your spouse gave you. 

When you get a chance, you’ll want to get your spouse’s cell phone.  Of course, you need to wait until you can look through the history without being caught.  Look through the incoming call list to try and find dates and times that match up with your records of suspicious calls.  Then write down the numbers.  You might also pay attention to numbers that appear frequently in both the incoming and outgoing call lists. 

Once you have these numbers, you can use an online reverse cell phone directory, like Reverse Phone Detective, to look up the numbers.  All you have to do is type in the number and wait a minute or so for the information to appear on your screen.  You will have to pay a fee to do this, but it’s definitely worth the money.  You will find out the person’s name, address, and other information in a matter of minutes.  Then you will be able to see if your spouse was lying about who was calling them.  Once you have the identity of the caller, you can decide how you want to proceed from there.
